Welcome to the place that houses all my posts about travel in South America! Look out for travel guides, experiences and those oh so enticing facts that are guaranteed to knock your socks off.
My first forage into South America was a 2-man trip to Argentina, Brazil & Uruguay. 2 weeks later it was firmly cemented as my favourite continent and the fire of desire was lit with being able to confidently converse with the Spanish-speaking locals. Upon my return 3 years later, I went for a much longer period over a number of many months. Over this time & with hours of practice beforehand, I am glad to say this Spanish dream became a Spanish reality! (Sadly not yet with the Brazilian Portuguese speakers – but i’ll be saving that particular challenge for another day).
With 2/3 of the continent visited I am patiently waiting for my next adventure, which will likely be in the coming few years. This will be more heavily centered around the countries in the North, where I hope to explore as much as I am allowed and document on the go!
